DYSLEXIA AWARENESS

AROUND THE CREEK

This beautiful mess on Mrs. Kirby's floor turned into some awesome collages after her Discovery student talked about cultural awareness and diversity!

Paper mache is in full swing in Mrs. Kirby's Kindergarten Discovery class! The children are learning about families around the world this week and they made their own globe to help show where different families are from!

Anna in Little Creek's Four's Room practices writing using the light table!

Eliza and Penny give Jack a hand in the Gym!

Students in Mrs Johnson's Discovery classes have constructed a model of Jamestown's "James Fort," as part of their Colonial America studies.

Ben and Ellie practice with purpose and play beautifully in the music room!

Little Creek Four's students make bean and bead hands while practicing letter B. They did all this while practicing making the bbbbb sound and creating words that start with B!

Josephine, Ella, and Caden enjoy the warm weather while working on syllable division in Ms. Rybas' class.

The Kindergarten class has been learning about metamorphosis of a monarch butterfly. They have watched the whole process from an egg to a butterfly in the class and have released seven male and 10 female butterflies! If you are roaming the hallways come check out their mural across from Mrs. Holmes' room!

During this week, Little Creek's Toddler Class learned all about autumn leaves. Here they are practicing their autumn yoga!

Nathan and Elii work on dividing syllables with pipe cleaners.
