OPPORTUNITY TO REPRESENT THE REGION! This year for Annual Convention, a crew of folks from around ECCT are helping to organize a " Trivia Night " on Friday in an attempt to have fun and build community. They are hoping to get a "prize basket" from each Region to give to the top placing Trivia Teams. Would your community like to contribute an item that represents the North Central Region? This is our opportunity to celebrate our corner of Connecticut. Prizes must be received by the Region Leadership Team by 10/23 . If you would like to help build the NC Region basket or have questions please email The Rev. Linda Spiers at lindaspiers@aol.com.
It's a battle of wits and useless knowledge at Convention! Over dinner, compete with your team for unique prizes by answering trivia questions from church history to popular culture--from the arcane to the downright silly . ALL members of ECCT are invited to participate on Friday, October 26 at 6:30 pm at the Mystic Marriot. Tickets are $50, to register click here.

10/14/18 Holy Landers @ Camp Washington, 4:30 PM
Join us as we welcome a guest speaker – Tom Verde, presenting Pilgrimage. The act of pilgrimage is a sacred undertaking in many faiths. Throughout history and into modern times, Christians have journeyed to the Holy Land, Muslims to Mecca, Buddhists to Bodh Gaya, Jews to the Wailing Wall, all in search of spiritual inspiration and/or renewal. Join us for this Second Sunday conversation about pilgrimage as an act of religious faith while focusing on a number of popular Christian pilgrimage sites, such as Canterbury, Santiago de Compestela and the Holy Land.  Tom Verde, a member of Calvary Episcopal Church in Stonington, is a published freelance journalist and speaker who writes about Islam, Middle Eastern history, interfaith relations, Christianity, and comparative religion. Please RSVP at (860) 567-9632
The ECCT HolyLanders Ministry Network is finalizing plans for a Pilgrimage to the Holy Land, June 9-19. Both Bishop Ian and Bishop Laura will be leading the trip. Come hear more!
