Taha Hassane currently serves as the imam of the Islamic Center of San Diego. He was a high school teacher and imam in Algeria for ten years before arriving in the US. He served as a youth counselor with the Colorado Muslim Youth Foundation.He is an outspoken supporter of human and civil rights, especially for women, minorities, and people of color, and a progressive voice for Muslims in this region. 
Rabbi Aliza Berk leads creative healing services and spirituality groups at Jewish Family Service in San Diego. She is a licensed therapist and spiritual director in private practice in San Diego. She specializes in grief counseling, abuse and chronic illness. She was among the first 20 women rabbis ordained in the US.
Bishop Katharine Jefferts Schori served as the presiding bishop of the Episcopal Church from 2006 until 2015. Prior to her role as primate, she was the bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Nevada. For the past two years, she has served as the assisting bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of San Diego in the interim between permanent bishops, also called diocesan bishops.
Dean Penny Bridges has served as the dean of St. Paul’s Episcopal Cathedral in the Banker’s Hill part of San Diego since 2014. A native of Northern Ireland and lifelong Anglican, Dean Bridges received her education at Wells Cathedral School and Clare College, Cambridge. The dean is herself an accomplished violist and singer.
Bishop-Elect Susan Brown Snook is the first woman to assume responsibility for the Episcopal Diocese of San Diego. She most recently served as the canon for church growth and development in the Episcopal Diocese of Oklahoma where she earned a reputation as a church growth expert. She planted a church that thrives today in Scottsdale, Arizona, and she wrote God Gave the Growth: Church Planting in the Episcopal Church. She holds degrees in divinity, business administration, accountancy, English, managerial studies and is working toward a doctorate.
