Read Our New Annual Impact Report
Our new Annual Impact Report for the fiscal year 2019/2020 is available online now. We invite you to read this year's report to learn more about how our dynamic organization navigated the past year while experiencing record growth in demand for our services.

In the last year, we served 3,925 households, a 50% increase over the previous year. Learn how we leveraged donor contributions and Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act dollars to adapt and expand our work, both on and off-site, and invest significantly in our future.

Volunteer with Valley Outreach
Be a part of minimizing waste while giving back to the community by joining our volunteer team as a Food Rescue volunteer! As a Food Rescue volunteer, individuals sort through boxes of retail food donations from stores like Cub, Target, and Kowalski’s, selecting the best quality items for Valley Outreach clients. There are several volunteer openings available each day of the week for this position.

If you are a new volunteer to Valley Outreach, please fill out our brief online application. If you are a current volunteer, please sign-up for a shift using the Volunteer Sign-In link on the top of our website.
Spring/Summer Clothing Donations Needed
Spring in Minnesota is on its way and we need clothing donations for warmer weather. We're happy to accept shorts, swimsuits, t-shirts, and other spring and summer attire for every member of the family! Help us help our community by following these guidelines for clothing donations:
  • Please bring up to two bags (or boxes) per vehicle of in-season, clean, like-new clothing and new, in-the-package socks and underwear. At this time, we can’t accept more than two bags or boxes.
  • We won’t accept loose clothing. This includes items on hangers or in bins that you may need back. We also won’t accept any items that are not wearable.
  • Donations are accepted Monday and Wednesday from noon to 3 p.m. Please ONLY donate during these times. We are unable to accommodate donations at other times due to our building being closed. Don’t leave donations outside our building.
Stillwater Motors Raffle for
Valley Outreach
Stillwater Motors and local grocery partners are fundraising for Valley Outreach through a BBQ Raffle! You can purchase tickets to win an Akorn Kamado Grill provided by Stillwater Motors, and $50 gift certificates to THREE local stores: Hagberg's Country Market, Lens Family Foods, and Brines Market and Deli.

Tickets are $5 and available from the cashier at Stillwater Motors. Please pay with cash or check. All proceeds benefit Valley Outreach.

The drawing will take place on May 26, 2021 at 3 p.m. – just a few days before Memorial Day so you can enjoy your newly won grill and your chosen grocery and meat selections from some locally owned businesses.
Still Time! Minnesota March FoodShare

Valley Outreach is participating in the Minnesota FoodShare March Campaign again this year. All donations received this month - both financial and food - are part of this fundraising event. Your financial gifts translate to more than food. Your dollars contribute to the stability of Valley Outreach and the support of our community. https://valleyoutreachmn.org/donate-now/

"Thank you for all you do to make the food shelf happen! Because of you all, I am eating a lot more fruits and vegetables! Also, I appreciate the special help I got from one of the interns that helped me get vegan food."
