At the NLADA 2018 Annual Conference , we are bringing three champions of equal justice to demystify the relationship building process in a session, Building Sustained Partnerships with Funders, Contributors & Supporters . Representing the foundation, corporate, and law firm communities respectively, Sandra McAlister Ambrozy, Max W. Laun, and Jack W. Londen will participate in a panel moderated by NLADA President & CEO Jo-Ann Wallace. Their unique perspectives will help attendees build and expand public-private partnerships that are mutually-beneficial, relevant, and timely .
Sandra McAlister Ambrozy is a senior fellow with The Kresge Foundation focused on civil legal justice. With more than 30 years of experience in philanthropy, Sandra has developed expertise in human services, arts and culture, green building initiatives and civil legal aid. She currently works with partners to strengthen access to civil legal aid as well as advance policies and laws that expand social and economic mobility. Learn more here
As Vice President and General Counsel, Max W. Laun oversees the day-to-day operations of Arconic's Legal activities worldwide. He is also an engaged nonprofit board member and leader. Max is Chair of NLADA’s Corporate Advisory Committee, has served as a Board member and Board President for Neighborhood Legal Services, and serves on the Board of the Pennsylvania Legal Aid Network (PLAN) , among others. Jack W. Londen , a partner in Morrison & Foerster’s Intellectual Property Group, has 35 years of experience in patent litigation and complex commercial litigation. He is the president of the Consortium for the National Equal Justice Library and has served as co-chair of the National Lawyers’ Committee on Civil Rights Under Law, a founder of Lawyers for One America, and chair of Californians for Legal Aid, among others. Learn more here
