Come and share your comments, questions, and opinions about the newly analyzed housing alternatives that are being evaluated as part of the Draft Environmental Impact Report for the Stanford University General Use Permit Application.

Volunteers Sought for Heritage Tree Task Force
The City of Menlo Park is forming a task force to aid review and recommend updates to the heritage tree ordinance. Community members will help the City balance private property rights and implementation efficiency with Menlo Park’s identity as a Tree City USA. The ordinance update will evaluate current issues and successes related to the ordinance and explore options based on best practices.

Applicants with direct experience with the current heritage tree ordinance or appeal process are highly desirable. Applications are available online and due to the City Clerk’s Office by Monday, July 2 at 5 pm .

4th of July Volunteers Needed!
Looking for a fun and rewarding way to give back to the Menlo Park Community? This year’s Fourth of July Parade and Celebration is going to see a great turn out and a day filled with family fun. Many of the activities are run entirely by volunteers, so we need your help to make it possible. Your help at just one activity throughout the day will help make this event possible for thousands of people and continue to allow this event grow each year. Summer Concert Series: Fog City Swampers
The Summer Concert Series presented by Facebook features a variety of musical styles from Jazz to Country to hits of today and yesterday. Bring your picnic blanket and dinner, and of course there is always room for dancers of all ages.

This Wednesday's concert features the Fog City Swampers. T he Fog City Swampers have been rocking Northern California and beyond since 2003. The band puts on a high energy show that's sure to get people moving on the dance floor. Expect to hear classics by artists like Lynyrd Skynyrd, CCR, Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, Johnny Cash, Fleetwood Mac, and many more. If you like live music, come on down and be a part of the Swamp show!
