Independence Day Holiday Hours
The Mundelein Village Hall offices will be closed on July 4, 2019 in observance of Independence Day. Offices will re-open at 8 a.m. on July 5. Water payments can be placed in the outside payment drop box (located on Plaza Circle directly across from the main entrance). We wish everyone a safe and enjoyable Fourth of July celebration. Be sure to stop by Kracklauer Park for Community Days festivities. 
Curbside Garbage Cans—A Reminder
Just a friendly reminder— Any recycling and waste containers, or other refuse items, should be placed behind the curb or at the edge of the street on collection day. Please do not place containers on the street. This can impede vehicles, bicyclists, pedestrians, and the street sweeper. Waste containers may be placed at the curb no earlier than 6 p.m. the day prior to scheduled collection day.

Summer Lawn Sprinkling Restrictions
Now in Place
From May-September. Watering is permitted between 5-10 a.m. or 6-11 p.m. East of Route 45 on even calendar days and west of Route 45 on odd calendar days. Newly planted landscaping may be watered at any time on the day of installation. Thereafter, newly planted landscaping may be watered on any day, but only during the permitted hours for up to three weeks from date of planting.
