The Desert Museum's Recent Awards
For the third consecutive year the Desert Museum has been included in TripAdvisor's Traveler's Choice Award for the top Museums in the U.S.  The award is generated by reader reviews and rankings. The Desert Museum was also named the Best Museum in the Arizona Daily Star's 2015 Readers' Choice Awards and voted a favorite in the Best Art Gallery and Best Family Attraction categories.

Native birds of prey will dazzle with their precision aerial skills at Raptor Free Flight!  This popular presentation features hawks, falcons, owls and ravens native to the Sonoran Desert region. You'll learn what distinguishes each species, such as the Harris's Hawk, the only raptor in the world that hunts as a family using strategy, like wolves. Presentations at 10am and 2pm.
