With June fast approaching and summer upon us, we continue to reopen the County in a safe and phased manner, consistent with Governor DeSantis and the State Florida.
Restaurants and retail establishments are opening and allowed to serve outdoor seating and at 50 percent capacity inside. In addition, gyms, salons, museums, and other similar service providers are also now allowed to accept customers. St. Johns County's Plan for Opening Short-Term Vacation Rentals was accepted by the State of Florida and those businesses are now operational. The Governor also reinstated summer camps and youth sports and our libraries are open in a phased plan.
The Library's 2020 Summer Reading Program will be hosted online beginning Monday. Readers can sign up to participate at the Library's new READsquared webpage.
