The controversial "Equality Act" passed in the U.S. House of Representatives on February 25, 2021 with a vote of 224 to 206. The measure will now be moved to the U.S. Senate.

The Equality Act would affect the nation by:

  • Forcing schools nationwide to teach kids about LGBT ideology without parental consent.
  • Mandating that schools allow boys to access the girls restrooms, locker rooms, and showers.
  • Allowing males to unfairly compete in female sports.
  • Requiring teachers and students to use the preferred names and pronouns of those who identify as transgender.
  • Permitting men to enter and access the women's public bathrooms, locker rooms, and showers.
  • Requiring employers to implement strict preferred pronoun policies.
  • Compelling employers to provide health insurance for “sex-reassignment" surgery.
  • Requiring doctors to provide sex-reassignment procedures and hormone therapy against their conscience.
  • Eliminating the Religious Freedom Restoration Act, an invaluable religious liberty defense law.
