SENIORS NIGHT THIS FRIDAY

The Hyacks will recognize their 17 graduating seniors along with their parents this Friday night, in a ceremony prior to the team's game against South Delta at Mercer Stadium. This is the final game of the regular season with first place in the AAA Western Conference up for grabs. The two teams will also battle for the coveted Kushnir Boot, named in honor of the late Bill Kushnir, who was a former head coach of both programs.

The Hyacks are coming off a 46-33 win over Belmont last Friday afternoon at Mercer Stadium. Michael Udoh and Greyson Planinsic again combined for close to 300 yards at 4 TDs, marking the 4th time in the past 5 games the pair has each rushed for over 100 yards in the same game. Sam Webb scored his first career TD and Mahtab Garcha added a major as well.

Jayden Kastelein started his first game and fared well with 30 yards on 4 carries and 4 tackles on defense. Deakon Young led the defense for the 2nd straight game with 9 tackles and Vishaan Narayan added 7. Garcha was named Player of the Game while Narayan was named Dairy Queen Lineman of the game. The Hyacks are now 5-1 in league play (6-2 overall) and are ranked 3rd in BC.
