"From Basement to Boardroom".

Our next member lunch is October 20, 2016 and it is fitting that it is during small business week.

Our guest speaker is Howard Kroeger, President of Kroeger Media which produces the Bob FM radio format for radio stations across North America.

This is truly a made at home success story; join us as Howard takes us through the development process of this international media success story that started from his home in rural Manitoba. Truly an innovative and interesting subject.

MEMBER COUNCILS - New Program

Member Councils are small, by invitation gatherings to meet with other Assiniboia Chamber members, receive presentations on special service offerings, connect with elected officials and discuss topics of the day.

These councils are meant to be nimble, on the spur events that can be implemented quickly through an email invitation or phone call. Our first couple of member councils are taking place in November with an invitation list developed from our presumptions of member needs.

Topics for our next two member councils are
Payroll & Time Management with a presentation on how contracting your payroll can provide value to your business. The second council topic is
Workplace Safety with the opportunity to gain access to tools to develop and maintain your workplace safety program.

If you have interest in these or have suggestions for other topics of interest, send an email to [email protected] for your personal invitation. Typical member councils are no charge events although from time to time there may be a small fee to cover ancillary services.
