Late January 2020 library news
It's Grown-up Story Hour week! Join us this Thursday, January 30 at 6:00 p.m. at Liberty Way Tap House for a fun evening of stories, essays and poetry. Our volunteers and staff will read while you sit back and relax. There's no charge to attend, but beverages are available from Liberty Way and pizza is available from Home Slice.

We have some fun things coming up in February, including a watercolor painting class with staff from Land O' Lakes Arts (LOLA) that's filling up fast. I posted this on Facebook and a couple of days later the class was already half full! If you'd like to participate, give us a call at 715-476-2366 because space is limited.

Other things on our February calendar include an informative program on streaming media called "Ditch the Dish;" "The Goldfinch" as our movie night feature; and our usual coloring, Tech Tuesday, book club and evening book club programs. View our online calendar of events for the latest updates, or follow us on Facebook for even more library news.

We also continue to build our library collection to fill your needs for books, movies, audiobooks, and more. Our new "Lucky Day" movie collection has proven to be very popular already. This month we'll be adding more great titles to it, including Maleficent: mistress of evil , Last Christmas , Knives Out , A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood , Frozen II , and more.

Each month we add 10-20 new movies and 30-40 new books to our library collections so check our library catalog for all the new titles you want. And if the Mercer Library doesn't have it, we can order items from one of the 29 other libraries in the Merlin system or through the statewide inter-library loan system. Just ask! We're here to help!
