TOWNSHIP NEWS   

GLASS COLLECTION FOR BEAVER COUNTY RESIDENTS   
 
Brighton Township residents may now recycle eyeglasses and glass bottles and jars every Wednesday 8 a.m. - 11 a.m. at Brady's Run Recycling Center.  Call 724-770-2068 for more information.
LOCAL EVENTS  
JULY 20 & AUGUST 24  The Beaver County Amateur Astronomers will hold a Star Party at the Bradys Run Park baseball fields on Achortown Road.  Observe moons, constellations, galaxies and double stars between 8:00 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. This event is free.
JULY 27  Beaver County Food Truck Festival will be held at the Brady's Run Park walking trail.  The Eldorado Band will play from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. and Burnin' Boxes will play from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.  Come enjoy an afternoon of food, fun and music.  This event is free and will be held from noon to 6 p.m.
AUGUST 3  The Hot Summer Nights Car Cruise will be held in downtown Beaver from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.  Beaver opens its streets once again to some of the finest classic cars and modified modes of locomotion in the country.  With a conservative estimate of around 2,000 cars, this event is a must attend!
AUGUST 7  A Veteran's Breakfast will be held at Seven Oaks County Club (132 Lisbon Road) between 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.  Breakfast is $12. RSVP at least two days in advance by calling 412-623-9029.

WeDo WEDNESDAYS
Come in and have some fun! We will be having open-play  with the library's Lego WeDo 2.0 kits.  No registration is required.  Wednesdays @ 3:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. 
LEGO CLUB
Come and show off your skills!  All ages welcome. 
No registration required. Every Friday from 3:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.
BROWN BAG BOOK CLUB  meets on the third Friday of the month from noon - 1:00 p.m. Open to Everyone.
QUILTER'S GROUP  meets the fourth Wednesday of the month from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Open to Everyone.
KNIT & CROCHET CLUB  meets every Thursday from 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. making items to sell to support library programs.
