10/23 - Mayors' Climate Commission
  • The Mayors of Sacramento and West Sacramento will be conducting their fifth public Mayors’ Climate Commission meeting on Wednesday, October 23, 4:00 - 7:30 pm at the CalSTRS Boardroom in West Sacramento.

1/22 - Renewable Gas 360
  • The Renewable Gas 360 (formerly Rethink Methane) conference will be held at the Sheraton Grand Hotel in Sacramento. Topics will include building markets for dead trees to reduce wildfire risk, building markets for renewable hydrogen, reducing short-lived climate pollutants, managing overburdened landfills and methane capture.

4/13 - Green Technology Summit and Expo
  • The 2020 Green Technology Summit and Expo will be held in the Tacoma Convention Center on April 13 – 15. This year’s event will be combined with the US EPA’s West Coast Collaborative Partner’s Meeting, and will include fleet focused sessions on technician training, regulatory policies, vehicle, engine and fuel technology developments, and the future of mobility.

2020 Toyota Mirai
T oyota, a Clean Cities Sponsor, has redesigned and re-engineered the Toyota Mirai Fuel Cell Sedan due to be introduced in late 2020 with improved hydrogen storage, nearly 400 miles of range and improved driving performance.

Volta Free DC Fast Charge
Volta will install 150 DC Fast Chargers, some 50kW and some 100kW, that will dispense 30 minutes of free EV charging while playing advertisements on a large screen. The access to the chargers will be done by smartphone app, so the advertisements may also be on the phone.

Zero Emission Truck Regulations
CARB’s proposed ZEV Truck Regulation will require manufactures to ramp sales of ZEV trucks from 7% in 2024 to 50% by 2030. Fleets and companies that hire fleets will need to begin reporting their ZEV truck percentages beginning in 2021.

Formerly bankrupt Aptera has announced they are coming back with a two-seat, 3-wheeler that will have a 1,000 mile range and will also have installed solar panels that will provide 5 miles of range per hour when parked in the sun.
