All four middle schools will have additional minimum days on Friday, January 22, February 19, and June 4. The additional minimum days on Friday (1/22, 2/19, 6/4) help to balance the week since the Mondays are holidays. Please plan accordingly for these additional minimum days. Here is the Wednesday minimum day schedule for your reference.

On Wednesday, Jan. 27, Art, ELA & AVID classes will have materials for students that need to be picked up. Students will be given more instructions by their teachers.

New Enrollment & Transfer Requests for
21-22
- The Priority Registration window will open on January 11, 2021 at 12:00 pm (noon) and close on Friday, January 29, 2021 at 12:00 pm (noon).
- School sites will continue to accept new student registrations after Priority Registration has ended on January 29. Those registrations are not considered to have priority.
- Registration is considered complete only after you have completed document verification in Step #4.
- Step #4 must be completed by 12:00 pm (noon) on Friday, January 29 in order to be considered within priority.
- The Aeries online pre-registration form can be completed on any internet-enabled device (cell phone, tablet, laptop, computer).
- 6th Grade Address Verification for 5th Grade Families moving to Middle School will occur in March.

1.) Download the app named “Yearbook Snap.”
Directions for submitting any pictures you’d like to possibly see in this year’s yearbook are below.
Click on the “Community Upload” tab and look for our school “Borel” on the dropdown menu. Enter the access code “Borel”. Once you are there, you can upload the photos from your computer.

High School Enrollment
It is important to note that high school enrollment will be done online starting November 9th. A link on the SMUHSD Website will be available to complete the process. The priority window is from December 1, 2020 to February 12, 2021. If families need help navigating the online system by computer, they can contact the SMUHS district office beginning on November 9th for assistance either by phone or in person.

Food: Meal service at five of our elementary school sites (College Park and Sunnybrae). If needed, make sure your family applies for free and reduced-price meals if needed. The application is on our website and the school district website. If you need more help with food, let your counselor know.
School Supplies: Let your counselor know if you need school supplies.
