Youth Ministry News - September 2018
And they were astonished beyond measure, saying,
“He has done all things well;
he even makes the deaf hear and the dumb speak.”

In the Gospel for this coming weekend, Jesus opens the eyes of a man stricken with blindness. He does this by rubbing spit and mud together and applying it directly into the man's eyes. Jesus Christ is a God who can use the simplest, least worthwhile things to unveil His goodness and mercy. May he continue to open the eyes of not only our heads, but our hearts as well as we go forth into a new school year.

Below you'll find a listing of the things that are in store for our middle school and high school students in the month of September. I hope that you will be able to join us for some of these offerings. May God richly bless you!

In Christ,
Bradley Barnes, Coordinator of Youth Ministry

Welcome Mrs. Kay Froehlich!
The Youth Ministry team extends a warm welcome to our parish's new DRE! While not a new face (she has been a lifelong parishioner and tenured member of the school teaching staff), we're so thankful to have Mrs. Froehlich on the parish staff "team!"

Don't Forget - VIRTUS Monthly Bulletin!
If you volunteer with children in any capacity, don't forget to go to virtus.org and submit your monthly bulletin. This month's is of special note, as it addresses the role of volunteers in the wake of the Pennsylvania grand jury report.
