Meet at Dunwoody Tavern for fellowship and some friendly competition. The game begins at 8:00pm and we gather beforehand to claim a spot and grab a bite or a drink.

I’m thrilled to celebrate my first year anniversary at St. Patrick’s. This is a special community and a singing congregation!

This past year, I taught voice lessons at six different schools around Atlanta during the day on top of my work at St. Pat’s. I’m happy to announce that an opportunity has emerged and I have accepted the choral director position at Pebblebrook High School (Cobb County Center for Excellence in the Performing Arts). While this will be a grand new adventure, I am happy to be in one place during the day and will still be the Director of Music here at St. Patrick's. Thank you for your ongoing support and collaboration, and as always — keep singing!

Yoga Postponed

Yoga will be postponed for the month of July. It will resume in August.

Malachi's Storehouse

Summer Foyers

Please save the date July 6, 2019 at 6pm for our next Foyers gathering at the beautiful home of Rebekah Martin-Fong in Peachtree Corners, Ga. The theme for this Foyers is a Tribute To The 50's with food and dress that will allow us to get into this rock and roll place in time. So break out your grandmother's cookbook and since, of course, most of us were not around then you are allowed one Google search for the dress of the period (think white sock hops, fedora hats, and poodle skirts).

Are you new in the parish and looking for an opportunity to get to know us a little better? Are you a long time member and just enjoy spending time with beloved ones here? Are you somewhere in between and have a little free time on a Thursday evening? Are you tired of cooking and want to stay out of the kitchen on Thursday night? Are you interested in checking out the food truck offerings on Thursday evenings at Brook Run from 5:00 pm until dark?

Please join us on Thursday evenings July 11, July 18, July 25 and Aug. 1. Come for just one or come for all four Thursdays. Come for all or part of the evening. Food trucks offering tacos, burgers, gyros, etc. are located across the street in Brook Run Park from 5:00 pm until dark. You can park at St Patrick’s and walk across the street to the food trucks. Walkers who would like to go as a group will leave from the south side of the parking lot at 6:00 pm. Come back to the parlor by 7:00 pm for herbal iced tea and conversation. If Food Trucks do not appeal, join us at 7:00pm in the parlor for conversation. If the weather is pleasant we will move into the garden. Compline, a lovely evening prayer service, will be offered at 8:00 pm to close the day. You will be on your way home by 8:30 for some holy rest.

If you do not have a name tag, please sign your name on the Name Tag sign-up sheet located on the podium in the narthex.

Malachi's Storehouse and Visit Fort Worth

Mother Julia and Ms. Ida Parris, as representatives of Malachi's Storehouse, enjoyed a wonderful evening of "Visit Fort Worth" this past Thursday night right close by in Sandy Springs. Visit Fort Worth invited us to receive the canned goods folks brought to the event and to speak a little bit about Malachi's. But then they also surprised us with a $500 donation! Wow! Thank you Visit Fort Worth for a great evening and such a generous gift!
