The village would like to thank all of those who came to the Friday Night Fish Boil fundraiser for Hatchery Park! The weather was perfect and we had a great turnout from the community. Over 500 dinners were sold and we raised over $8,500!
T
he Judson Brown Band
kept everyone entertained with their diverse music of country, pop and rock! We would like to thank all the business and individual donors for contributing to our event and volunteers who all helped to make it a great success.

Boy Scout Landon Simecek, with the help of volunteers, will be building block columns for new Welcome to Spring Grove signs this summer. Landon put a lot of work into the calculations and design of the columns. He is looking for financial support to help pay for the column materials. Any size contribution will help and is greatly appreciated. Watch Landon's fundraising video

In 2007, Illinois became the 18th state to remove local governments from the cable franchise decision-making process by passing a franchise reform bill, allowing cable and video service companies to obtain state-issued authorization to provide services. This means
any
internet provider can provide service to our community, and the village would welcome them to give our residents more options! However, our one-acre zoning requirement makes it difficult for companies to achieve a satisfying rate of return on their infrastructure investment, so there hasn't been a lot of interest in our community. Residents who work out of their homes should consider upgrading to
Mediacom's Business Service
with higher speeds and faster support if they are experiencing issues. For a list of other providers,

Can you see the Monarch butterfly eating their milkweed lunch?
Monarchs cannot survive without milkweed; their caterpillars only eat milkweed plants, and monarch butterflies need milkweed to lay their eggs.
