Fall Fitness Class Registration
|
Looking to get active this fall? From beginner to advanced classes, the Town offers a variety of fitness programs to help you get healthy and active. If you're into spin, aerobics, or strength training, try one of our general classes. If yoga is more your thing, join us for beginner to master level courses, or come out to an early bird or lunchtime session. We even offer dance themed fitness programs like Zumba, POUND and Shine!

Another Bright SunSplash Paddle in Paradise

From the exciting Dragon Boat Races on Octagon Pond, to the great community events and activities, it has been another successful SunSplash Paddle in Paradise Summer Festival. Thank you to SkyHawks Canada for being part of SunSplash Paddle in Paradise 2018. The SkyHawks performed an exciting aerial routine for onlookers at Paradise Park following Saturday's Dragon Boat Festival. On Tuesday, the SkyHawks came to the Council Meeting to present the Town with a signed picture of the team. We hope to see the SkyHawks back for future performances in Paradise. Public Information Session
|
Residents are advised of a public information session regarding a proposed Medical Cannabis Production Facility at 1956 Topsail Road. This session will include a presentation and opportunity for one-on-one discussions with the developer and Town staff.
The session is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 29 at the Paradise Double Ice Complex. For more information, please visit the website

As part of our budget process we want to hear from you! The goal of "Budget Talks" is to engage residents and find the right balance between maintenance and enhancement of Town services, programs and infrastructure.
Launching in mid-September, this year's extended pre-budget consultations include several ways to talk to us about Budget 2019. Some of the methods you can provide us with input include: an Online Budget Simulator, Community Stakeholder Talks, social media dialog, or by reaching out to us by email. Labour Day Weekend Closures & Schedule Changes
|
The last long weekend of the summer is almost here. The Town Hall and the Paradise Double Ice Complex, including the Rotary Paradise Youth and Community Centre, are closed on Monday, September 3 in observance of the Labour Day Holiday.
Residents are advised that the garbage and recycling collection schedule for the week of September 3 will move ahead by one day. For information on how your area will be affected, please see below or visit our closures page.
