Be part of this inaugural workshop designed to help you secure federal funding in this new field! Experts will present the nationally established Implementation Research curriculum from the National Institutes of Health.
Eligibility
  1. Register by December 6, 2019.
  2. Must be a faculty scientist at a CTSA Hub with an interest in implementation science.
  3. Complete the pre- and post- workshop activities and attend the 2-day workshop!

Workshop Goals
  1. Build interdisciplinary collaborations among scientific teams and clinical partners to design and conduct relevant, rigorous, high priority studies in the new field of Implementation Science.
  2. Enhance your success in competing for Dissemination and Implementation grants with the NIH, AHRQ, DoD & PCORI.
  3. Position UT System and Texas research partners as leaders in Implementation Science that improves healthcare.
About the organizers
Robert L. Ferrer, MD, MPH is the John M. Smith, Jr. Professor, Vice Chair for Research in the Department of Family and Community Medicine, member of the National Academy of Medicine & the Institute for the Integration of Medicine and Science Community Engagement Director at UT Health San Antonio.
Kathleen R. Stevens, RN, EdD, ANEF, FAAN is a board member of the Association of Clinical and Translational Science & a senior editor of the Journal of Clinical and Translational Science.
