Recognition benches are a benefit of joining the Colorado State Fair Foundation's Partners of Youth in Ag annual giving program
|
Join the Colorado State Fair Foundation Partners of Youth in Ag annual giving program by purchasing a recognition bench. We invite you and your family, business or company to purchase a recognition bench to be displayed during the next 5 years at the Colorado State Fair. By purchasing a bench you are supporting the foundations mission to enhance youth programming, education and experiences at the Colorado State Fair.
Each bench will be placed throughout the fairgrounds and showcased for 5 years. You can choose your own color and personalize the bench. There are two different places; a 14-character message on the backrest and one tamperproof plaque that will be attached to the backrest.
A minimum contribution of $2,500 for each bench. Benches are 8 ft. long, thermoplastic coated and covered by a five-year limited warranty.
Want your bench for Fair Time? Deadline for placement during the 2019 Colorado State Fair is Monday, July 1st.

The 4th Annual Partners of Youth in Ag Golf Tournament
|
|
There is still time to register!
The 4th Annual Partners of Youth in Ag Golf Tournament will be held opening day of the Colorado State Fair,
Friday, August 23rd
at Walking Stick Golf Course in Pueblo. The tournament is a 4-person scramble and a $100 per player entry fee. Entry fee includes green fees, cart rental, range balls, refreshments, breakfast, lunch, and a goodie bag. Check-in begins at 7:00 am, followed by a shotgun start at 8:00 am. Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers.
You will have an opportunity to visit with the current 4-H and FFA State Officer Team and other special guests. Please join us for this special fundraising event.
Proceeds from the tournament aid in the Foundation's ongoing efforts to support our mission.
New this year is a Welcome Par-Tee and Calcutta on
Thursday August 22nd at 6:00pm
. It will be held at the Colorado State Fair Foundation Private Membership Club located on the State Fairgrounds. Join us for food, fun, and drinks the night before the tournament.

The Colorado State Fair Foundation's Alumni Buyers Group is a buyers group that consists of past, current, and future 4-H and FFA members and folks who would simply like to support the Junior Livestock Sale. The alumni buyers group gives exhibitors and others the opportunity to stay involved and continue to support up and coming youth in agriculture.
There will be an annual breakfast hosted by the Colorado State Fair Foundation to congratulate our youth on making the Colorado State Fair Junior Livestock Sale as well as getting others involved with the Alumni Buyers Group. When you join, your annual contribution will allow you to attend the Exhibitors Breakfast the morning of the sale on

The Colorado State Fair Foundation Outstanding Service Award recognizes the exceptional leadership of an individual in providing, promoting, or advocating for Colorado Youth. The Foundation's Outstanding Service Award Selection Committee calls for nominations that recognize outstanding service made to further our mission to enhance youth programming, education and experiences at the Colorado State Fair.
Award winners will receive a personal plaque to commemorate their accomplishment, reserved table at the Foundation Fall Fundraising Event, The Sip, and their name displayed on a plaque in the Colorado State Fair Foundation Membership Club. Meet the Colorado State Fair Foundation Outreach Intern
Tori Martinez
|
|
Tori is a recent graduate of Pueblo County High School where she graduated with honors from the School of Engineering and Biomedical Sciences. She is currently working on two majors- biology and chemistry- at Colorado State University- Pueblo.
Tori's hobbies include spending time with her animals, competitive horse judging, snowboarding, hunting and fishing. You can find her in the barn or on the mountain. A fun fact about Tori is that she is an identical twin. (She is on the left). Tori looks forward to serving as an intern with the Foundation to promote growth and service within other 4-H and FFA members as well as members of the community.
