DC VINE Training
On Monday, June 24th, DOC and Appriss Safety offered DC VINE (Victim Information Notification Everyday) training at the Center for Professional Development and Learning (CPDL).

Attendees were educated on VINE's history and the critical role it plays in keeping communities informed and safe. They received hands on experience using VINE applications that crime victims and community members use to receive up to date information about offenders. Notifications can be received by telephone calls, text or email.

Nearly 40 staff members and agency partners participated in the sessions led by Karen Adams, Training Manager and Christy Kleinhenz, Client Relationship Manager of Appriss Safety, a technology and data collection company based in Louisville, Kentucky. Appriss Safety partners with nationwide private and public sector agencies to improve safety, mitigate fraud and reduce risk.

Thank you to everyone that registered and participated!
