Thank you to Ellen Malovany & Barbara Greenstein for organizing our renewed spring Food Drive. Thank you to all of our TAE members who donated. We look forward to seeing this annual spring drive grow in the coming years.
Spring Blood Drive Helped Save Lives

Thank you to Joyce Bloom for continuing to be the driving force behind our semi-annual blood drives. Thank you also to all of our TAE (and Temple Etz Chaim) donors who gave a little of their time and bodies to truly make a difference in the world. We collected 70+ pints of blood.

The next blood drive is November 4th.
Shoes that Fit

Thank you to Sarah Reines for organizing our March  Shoes that Fit   collection drive. TAE members donated 30 pairs of brand new shoes to children in need.

The Big Fill

Thank you to those who donated clothing and other items to THE BIG FILL for Save the Syrian Children. Along with others in the interfaith community, we packaged the items and sent them in a cargo container directly to those caught in the conflict in Syria.

Upcoming and On-Going Projects & Opportunities
Transitioning from the Winter Shelter to Year Round Meals

The 2017-2018 winter shelter ended Sunday March 25th. Thank you to everyone who cooked, served, chaperoned, did laundry and helped in any other way to make the shelter a reality. A special thank you to the shelter committee for all of their hard work.

Although the overnight shelter is ending, TAE participates with other faith communities in the Conejo Valley to ensure that a hot meal and sack lunch is available to those in need throughout the year.  TAE provides the meal on the 4th Wednesday of each month (April - November) at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Westlake Village. Please contact the shelter committee at taeshelter@yahoo.com for more information and to sign up to bring a meal.
TAE has two Social Action Havurot that are always looking for new members. Click the following links for details.
