RE: ClinicalConnect: Notice of Updates

Please be advised that the second phase to integrate the new Cerner Hospital Information System used at both Grand River Hospital (GRH) and St. Mary's General Hospital (SMGH) in WW LHIN, with ClinicalConnect is now complete.

The following pertains to how data from those two hospitals is viewed in ClinicalConnect. The first phase of this integration was completed on September 22, 2019, and updates were emailed to ClinicalConnect users at that time.
  1. Related to data from Grand River Hospital:

    a. Pathology & Genetics and Blood Bank test results, generated from September 22, 2019 onward from GRH, now displays in ClinicalConnect with "WW Hub" in the "Source" column. This data, generated prior to September 21, 2019, remains available with "Grand River Hospital" as the "Source".

    b. Cardiology-related data from GRH generated prior to September 21, 2019 remains within ClinicalConnect's Radiology and Transcription modules. Cardiology-related data from GRH from September 22, 2019 onward is not currently available in ClinicalConnect.

  2. Related to data from St. Mary's General Hospital:

    a. Data generated from November 3, 2019 onward now displays in ClinicalConnect with "WW Hub" in the "Source" column. Data generated prior to November 2, 2019, remains available with "StMary" as the "Source".

    b. Cardiology-related data from SMGH generated prior to November 3, 2019 remains within ClinicalConnect's Radiology and Transcription modules. Cardiology-related data from SMGH from November 3, 2019 onward is not currently available in ClinicalConnect.
Work continues to make Cardiology data from these two hospitals' new Cerner system available in ClinicalConnect's Cardiology module; details and timing to follow.

Thank you to all our partners who have been involved in helping to complete the integration work associated with this project.
