Sukkah Lunch 2019
Heilicher students ate lunch in the Sukkah this week in celebration of Sukkot, Moadim L'simchah!
Grade-Level Sukkot Open Houses 

Attend your child(ren)'s grade level Sukkot Open House this Sunday, October 20.  It's a great way to meet other Heilicher families and enjoy the holiday together. A light snack will be provided by the host.   

Alumni parents Wendy and Nisso Khabie are hosting an alumni gathering the same day from 9:30 a.m-11:30 a.m. This event is for alumni and their families who graduated from Heilicher between 2010-2019. RSVP to  Wendy Khabie. Address information will be sent out separately to alumni families who RSVP.

Winter Sports Early Registration Pricing Ends Today 


Today is the last day for winter sports early registration pricing. Heilicher winter sports include soccer for grades K-4 and basketball for grades 5-8. Register today and be a part of the Heilicher Pride. 
Front Desk Student Communications 

Please email  [email protected]  with any communications regarding attendance/absences, dismissal changes, illness notifications (please include symptoms), and any other pertinent information regarding your student's school day. This will ensure your message will be received (in the event staff is away from the desk or out of the office) and communicated appropriately.   
Picture Day - Tuesday, October 29 

Lifetouch Picture Day is Tuesday, October 29. Order forms were sent home this week. Completed order forms must be turned in to Lifetouch when the student's photo is taken. Pictures can also be ordered online, at mylifetouch.com, using Picture Day ID: EVTT2FKH9. Late orders will be accepted ONLINE ONLY up to 48 hours after picture day.

Dor l'Dor in the Digital Age with Rabbi Schein

Please join us Sunday, November 10, 1-3 p.m., to celebrate Rabbi Jeffrey Schein's new book:  Text Me: Ancient Jewish Wisdom Meets Contemporary Technology . The program will include an interactive discussion and inter-generational panel. Rabbi Schein is a life-long learner about the intersection between technology and Judaism. He is a senior education consultant at the Kaplan Center for Jewish Peoplehood, a former Heilicher teacher, and a current Heilicher grandparent.
