Dear friends
It was a blessing to welcome the good people of St. Martins to worship this past Sunday. We look forward to having them with us through until the September long weekend. Please join with me in making them feel welcome.
The schedule for July is in the sidebar. Pub night has been moved to tomorrow so as to avoid the holiday Monday. We will do the same thing in August. All welcome.
July 7 we welcome Don McLeod 'home' to St. Laurence as our preacher and celebrant.
July 14 we are very much looking forward to having The Padre and the Cowpies (a.k.a. the Rev. Brian Pearson and his band) at our Stampede Service. The band will be leading a pre-service sing-along so plan to come to church early, and stay late for a beef-on-the-bun lunch. If you can help with the lunch please sign up on the sheet at the church or email Kelly at adminassist@stlaurence.ca. We are looking for help with set up and clean up as well as people to bring crock pots of beef. The rest of you are invited to bring a salad or dessert to share please.
