How ads follow you around the internet
Have you ever wondered how or why when you look at something on a website - a shirt for example - then later that item is displayed in an advertisement on another website? It's called "behavior retargeting" and it's one way that ad networks are able to use browser cookies to track your movement from site-to-site. Does that mean people should block or delete cookies? Not necessarily. An ad is going to be displayed anyways - it might as well be something that you're interest in. Also, cookies are required on many websites that require a login so that the site recognizes you on your next visit - and won't require extra verification since it knows you've been to that site before.

How to share or delete your Google data automatically after you die
  • Google has controls that let you manage what happens to your account when you die.
  • You can choose to share everything, like your Gmail, Google Photos and more with up to 10 people.
  • You can also tell Google to automatically delete all of your private information after a pre-set amount of inactivity.
