Ehrlich Toyota is donating $6,000 each month to local organizations and causes with the first place organization receiving $3,500! Two organizations will be decided via social media contest and one cause chosen by Ehrlich Toyota based on hardship application or monthly themes and contests at dealer's discretion. Each organization can win 3 times during the calendar year!! This is going to be huge for local organizations such as not-for-profits, school groups, youth athletics, faith groups, arts education & more!

Prize 1 - $3,500: Organization with most votes.
Prize 2 - $1,500: Random drawing, each vote gives an organization a better chance of winning.

The Life Development Center on the campus of Campion Academy is once again offering a series of classes open to the public. These are free and will be held Wednesday evenings at 6:30 from September 5 to October 10. The Academy is located at 300 42nd Street SW in Loveland.

The four classes offered are Photography 101, Conflict and Communication, Sacred Marriage, and Grief Recovery. Each of these are taught by highly qualified instructors in the subject areas.

In Grief Recovery you will learn ways to process grief and to support others through their losses. This will be taught by Sandy Eickmann, a licensed professional counselor, and Carolyn Sadler, a Loveland school psychologist. Grief comes in many forms, not just death: divorce, loss of employment, and many other losses cause grief.

Conflict and Communication will teach you ways to speak so others will listen, and how to listen so others will speak, lessening conflict and improving communication in all areas of life. Dr. Dick Stenbakken and Ardis Stenbakken will be using a communication model developed by Sherod and Phyllis Miller, and both Stenbakkens have been trained by the Millers, and Chaplain Stenbakken used this very successfully for many years of counseling as an Army chaplain.

Monica Puckett, MA Psychology, will be part of the teaching team.
Dr. Micheal Goetz and his wife Melanie will be teaching Sacred Marriage. They have extensive marriage counseling training as well as experience. They say, "Marriage is the most sacred and important relationship on earth, and the most potential for good and for pain. Whether you are preparing for or looking to grow in your marriage, this class will be meaningful."

Michael Morss will be leading Photography 101, and he is inviting and including other experienced photographers to add their experience to the class. The class will be an introduction to digital photography, using digital cameras, and basic editing software. Morss says no prior photography experience is required.

Child care will be provided, but you must make a reservation by calling 970-667-7403 so that there is appropriate coverage for the various age groups. More information can be obtained at that number as well.
