  The Spooky Booookies Halloween Spectacular is Coming!

From the minds of our Harry Potter 20th Anniversary event, The Booooooooooookies will be hosting a wonderland of spookiness on Saturday, October 20th from 12:00pm-2:00pm. Join us for scares, crafts, giveaways, and a visit/storytime with the Glendale Police Department! We'll be hosting a costume contest so come dressed up and be prepared to have your socks scared off!

Perennial favorite kids' author Kevin Henkes returns with a wonderful counting book full of color and joy. We're lucky enough to have a few signed first editions on hand right now, so hurry in!

 Discounts for All
 
It's no secret that the book industry is a competitive one and that the cost to run a business has increased over the nearly fifty years The Bookies Bookstore has been a Denver tradition. As those costs have evolved, we've strived to evolve with them and adapt to give our customers the best experience and service with the best discounts. To that end, we're changing our discount model to be a more comprehensive and clear one. Starting October 1st, 2018, our discount will be a base 10% on purchases (exclusions apply). We hope this change simplifies the transaction process for all our customers.
