Introducing the Grand County Public Library Book Bike!  
  
Come see our new book bike at the Farmers' Market this month!  While you visit, take a minute to learn about free library services, sign up for a library card, check out the free stuff we have to share, or connect to the bike's wifi to download library ebooks or audiobooks onto your mobile device.



Funds for this project have been provided by the Institute of Museum and Library Services through the Library Services and Technology Act and are administered by the Utah State Library Division.

Free Escape Room Event
Theme: The Library's Hidden Secret

Games will run from 1:00 - 4:30 PM

Do you have what it takes?

Test your problem solving skills and experience the library with a magical twist during a free Escape Room Event in the library presented by Escape Moab!  The event is open to all ages, but games will be geared to ages 10 and up.  

Game sessions will be 30 minutes each and up to 10 people can go through the game at a time.  The first game will begin at 1:00 PM.  Stop by or call the library at 435-259-1111 to sign up for a start time.

World Cup of Writers         

Cast your votes in the Moab or Castle Valley Library through July 27

Vote for your favorite writer in our World Cup inspired contest!  We have pitted 16 famous authors from around the world in contests against each other. 

Each week you can cast a vote to help decide who will advance to the next round.  Saturdays in July will mark the beginning of each new round.  At the end of the month, one author will be left standing and one lucky participant will win the grand prize - a cooler bag and a coffee card generously donated by Dave's Corner Market.  Winner will be notified on Saturday, July 28.
Library Closure        

The library will closed Wednesday, July 4 for Independence Day.

July's selection is Evicted by Matthew Desmond.  The book was the winner of the 2017 Pulitzer Prize for General Nonfiction.  Copies are available for checkout in the library.
