Art Appreciation
Even if your artistic talents are limited to stick figures, now is the time to sign up as an Art Appreciation volunteer! The Art Appreciation program is not designed to teach art, but to share an appreciation of artists and artistic expressions of all kinds. Art Appreciation is a great way to spend time in your child's classroom. We assign you an artist, provide background materials, art examples and suggested hands-on projects. The total time commitment outside of preparation is one 30-45 minute lesson in the classroom. A meeting for new volunteers will be held in September.
