BCDI-Atlanta has exciting upgrades in store for the 2019-2020 fiscal year that will increase our impact throughout Georgia! We are restructuring our advocacy committees to align with the six NBCDI focus areas and need volunteer chairpersons for each committee. If you’ve been looking to be more engaged with BCDI-Atlanta, then this opportunity may be for you!

In our efforts to support the development of a high-quality, accessible, affordable and aligned system of early care and education for children birth through age 8, BCDI-Atlanta is preparing a 10-day program to Italy for May 2020. We will be focusing on the diverse influencers who have shaped the way we view our education system today.

Scholarship Opportunity for College Students
The Evelyn J. Frazier Legacy Foundation is also sponsporing four BCDI-Atlanta student memberships! Beginning Jan. 1, 2020 , the Council for Professional Recognition will be celebrating 45 years of the CDA®! To celebrate, the Council will offer a limited-time CDA® Renewal Amnesty Program . This program will allow anyone with a CDA® credential expiration date as far back as January 1, 2010 , an opportunity to complete the renewal process and make their credential active again.
