GRADUATION SPEECH OF CHARISE HALLBERG, INTERNATIONAL HUMANITIES TEACHER

" Whether you know it or not, you’ve experienced Baader-Meinhof Phenomenon. This is the term given to the experience of learning something new, and immediately thereafter, noticing this new knowledge appearing and reappearing in your everyday life. For example, maybe you can recall learning about a theory, not at all new to the scientific community but new to you, and then suddenly, it seemed that theory were appearing in the world in places you’d never before noticed even existed. It’s as if the world were suddenly updated with new content. Of course, it’s not the world that has suddenly changed; it’s you..."

Congratulations to all our graduates!

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR BACK-TO-BUSINESS DAY!

Wednesday, August 14, 2019

Back-to-Business Day will be upon us before we know it! Our Back-to Business-Days have been successful in the past and set the tone for an amazing year ahead because of the help of our dedicated volunteers.
We are currently in need of parent/guardian volunteers for various stations such as photos, Orca card, forms, floaters, etc., for this year’s Back-t o-Business Day, so please consider us as part of your summer plans and sign up to volunteer!

If you have any questions, please e-mail Arty Christianto at  [email protected] . We thank all of you in advance!
We need both student and parent/guardian volunteers to help at Back-to-Business Day with computer handout and setup —monitoring doors; handing out laptops, charge cords, and styluses to students; helping students follow typed directions for setting up laptop; etc.

High School students can earn COMMUNITY SERVICE HOURS!

Email  [email protected]  and  [email protected]  with any questions!
