The Morton Center Annual Luncheon
Each year, The Morton Center provides over 1,300 chairs for people in recovery and their families, made possible primarily by funds raised through our annual luncheon.
What does it mean to have a chair?
A chair provides a seat for someone who is ready to take the courageous and difficult step of seeking treatment, but faces a financial barrier. A barrier that can make the difference between life and death, between redemption or devastation, between couplehood or divorce, between a family healed or torn apart, between a child able to embrace the delights of youth or forced to struggle against a cycle of dysfunction. The battle with substance abuse is never about just one individual, but forever impacts the lives of everyone who cares about that person.
The Morton Center can be the life- and relationship-saving difference, if YOU help remove that barrier and ensure there is always an open chair – for the addict AND for those who share the battle.
