Have An Adventure with WarmLine
The Sacramento Adventure Playground is open to youth with disabilities on the first Saturday of the month -- rain or shine! This is a designated time the youth and their siblings to enjoy the facility exclusively. The playground is a place where youth can use raw materials to create projects and play spaces that reflect their own ideas and vision. A parent/guardian must be present.

For Your Information

Take a Minute
Assessments of 9-month-old children suggest those who hear baby talk -- words such as "bunny" or "choo-choo" -- more frequently are faster at picking up new words between 9 and 21 months. Researches say this suggests some types of baby talk words can help infants develop their vocabulary more quickly.
Meet Me
Check out this newspaper insert dedicated to the inclusion of people with developmental disabilities published recently in the Sacramento News & Review and local newspapers throughout Sacramento, Yolo, Placer, Nevada, Sutter, Colusa and El Dorado counties.
Study Participants Sought
Volunteers are being recruited to participate in a research study evaluating a website customized for parents of children with ADHD and adults with ADHD.
