The road to hell

 
 
It takes a whole lot of effort, time, and sacrifice to save enough money in your retirement plan so you could one day retire. You sure as sh*t don't want to get screwed out of that hard-earned savings by an unscrupulous financial advisor or insurance salesperson whose level of motivation to sell you something rises and falls based on the size of the commissions on the financial products they recommend to you.
 
The "Fiduciary Rule" was supposed to stop that from happening, but the rule was killed in court. It's a shame, especially because so much of it made sense.
