"WHAT IS NEW ABOUT YOUR NEW LIFE IN CHRIST"......July 5,2020

1 of 7) New "HOPE"  ....I Peter 1:3 "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead."  Hope is an expectation. While in the world, you were expected to act according to the mandates of the world and the people around you. In the world you had problems that you couldn't solve and no one concerned about your desires, success, or failure with "no way out". Hope thru our Lord Jesus Christ tells us: " Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. 1 Peter 5:7. With this new hope you find sunshine at the end of the tunnel. You can tell others about your new HOPE because you have a Savior who pleads your case.   When you were out in the world you had no hope and no one you could depend on to plead your case. Thru our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ you can rest assured that HE has your best interest at heart.

2 of 7) New "STANDARD" .....Philippians 1:21 "For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain".   No longer an eye for an eye, lying, cheating, the use of language that's inappropriate or profane, nor any other immoral habit that the world see as being acceptable or alright, change you old way with words and your ole clever mind, change your heart and have a new start.  You now have a "God of Mercy. You now have an expectation of going to heaven rather than just "death, hell and the grave."   As a 'child of God' you must focus on seeing life differently. Our focus should and must be "forever looking unto Jesus who is the author and finisher of our faith".  Mass distractions (Covid 19), job loss, fewer friends and the scenery and/or places we once frequented, our places of refuge when dishearted .   No matter what  the problem you can now "GO to the GOD OF OUR SALVATION... looking   forward may also include despising the shame as our Lord and Savior did,  enduring the cross.    Your friends won't know you when "YOU Change YOUR NAME."   We must realize that the problems of this world were here when we got here and will be here and will be here when we leave. "FOCUS on a BRAND NEW LIFE.

Healthy Focus For ALL
Help Keep

Making personal hygiene and cleanliness a priority are among the 13 healthy behaviors and habits one Ball State University professor says can help lower your risk of contracting and spreading COVID-19 - and help you stay healthy in the future. Jagdish Khubchandani, a health sciences professor, based his research on mechanisms of transmission and characteristics of SARS-CoV-2 - the corona virus that causes COVID-19.

His recommendations:
1. Shower regularly, because COVID-19 can live on surfaces for days.
2. Keep your clothes clean. Don't wear the same clothes for several days, and do laundry frequently.
3. Don't bite your fingernails or rub your eyes. If you've got young kids, discourage them from thumb-sucking.
4. Try not to scratch your face, head or body.
5. Wash all fresh fruits and vegetables before eating them.
6. Don't litter - either inside or outside your home. You don't want to raise the risk of illness for family members, waste management workers or trash pickers.
7. Remove all leftovers, trash, masks and gloves from your car and dispose of them.
8. Maintain good hygiene while growing out hair, beards or nails, or using hair and face accessories.
9. Cover your face when coughing or sneezing to avoid spreading germs.
10. Wash your hands after using restrooms, being in public places such as
gas stations and grocery stores, or using elevators.
11. Clean your cell phone and computer devices, along with desk spaces.
12. Don't rely on carryout or restaurant deliveries as your only source of
meals. Try to add more healthy foods to your diet.
13. Don't reuse masks, gloves or personal care devices without cleaning
them.
