Shalom and hello everyone!

Thank you to all who joined and donated to our outstanding Annual Dinner this past Tuesday evening on Zoom! It was a smashing success and a wonderful time was had by the beautiful crowd who joined us live for the speeches, magic show, and musical entertainment.

It was wonderful to see so many friends and members of our beloved shul join together in support of our mikdash me’at and I eagerly look forward to seeing each and every one of you soon in person at Ohav Sholom.
I hope you received our gourmet hand-crafted ( Dairy ) cookies produced by Baked Cravings and emblazoned with our shul logo.

If you haven’t already, please CLICK HERE TO DONATE ($100 and above) towards the Ohav Sholom Dinner Fund and you too will receive these absolutely delicious cookies in a decorative box!
HOLIDAY WEEKEND/SUMMER MINYANIM

Ohav Sholom is open for business and we welcome you to join our robust minyan throughout shabbos and for shacharis daily.

Remember, you must email/WhatsApp/or text me in advance to be counted and included in our safe and secure minyan.

We’re holding services for all three tefilos over shabbos and have the capacity to safely increase attendance as of last Monday, given the new 25% room capacity rule.

Please note that board member Dr. Jeremy Novich is our COVID Gabbai throughout the week (and shabbos) and has full authority to ensure our health guidelines are observed and the safety of each and every member and minyan attendee is preserved.

Thank you for giving Jeremy your full attention and enthusiastic compliance!

KIDDUSH THIS SHABBOS!

Don’t miss out on a wonderful kiddush at Ohav Sholom.

Last Shabbos, I personally cooked the cholent and it was a runaway hit!

Join us this shabbos for a delicious OUTDOOR kiddush complete with hot cholent and more.

Given the holiday weekend and summer holiday schedule for many, please make every effort to ensure we have a strong minyan.

B”h, we haven’t missed one the entire month of June, both for Shabbos and weekday, and we wish to continue b’ezras Hashem.
SHIVA ASUR B’TAMUZ & THE THREE WEEKS

Next Thursday is the public fast day Shiva Asur B’Tamuz and the rules/prohibitions of the “Three Weeks” begin.

Please look to your email for our award-winning halachic primer detailing the laws and customs associated with this important historical period.

Remember, the prohibitions connected to the three weeks begin Wednesday evening.
Have a wonderful Shabbos and Happy Independence Day!

Join for minyan this Shabbos in shul,
