There is an unofficial cohort of Crossfire members who typically (key word: typically) go to Sunday 5 p.m. mass at St. Thomas the Apostle. We've been talking for a while about creating a designated spot to sit together so no one feels alone at Mass. We tend to sit at the left side toward the middle-front. Join us!

Member Spotlight: Jacquie Fable
Growing up in a large Polish Catholic family, I developed a love for God, John Paul II, being outdoors, and of course making pierogi. My faith was really deepened by going to RPI (a primarily science/engineering college) where I was surrounded by those of differing backgrounds, and my faith really became my own. Having a mother who was a strong advocate for social justice, growing up with a lot of younger cousins, and being a big biology nerd eventually led me to pursue a career in pediatrics, and I was an active member of Crossfire while attending medical school at UConn. My journey then took me to Rochester, NY for pediatrics and chief residency. I love traveling, yoga, reading, and NPR podcasts. I’m excited to be back in my favorite parish and enjoy the summer off before starting as a pediatric hospitalist in September!
