Let the Sun Shine in This Summer!
presents
July 26 - August 4
Let the Sunshine In this summer!
The American tribal love-rock musical
Hair celebrates the sixties counterculture in all its barefoot, long-haired, bell-bottomed, beaded and fringed glory. To an infectiously energetic rock beat, the show's iconic songs include "Aquarius," "Good Morning, Starshine," "Hair," "I Got Life," and "Let The Sun Shine." Exploring ideas of identity, community, global responsibility and peace, HAIR remains relevant as ever as it examines what it means to be a young person in a changing world.

July 17th
A Midsummer Night's Dream, Shakespeare's most popular comedy, begins with the people of Athens entering a moonlit forest and falling under the spell of the fairies who inhabit it. These merry wanderers of the night make mischief as two boys fall in love with the same girl while friends are turned against each other. Artisans attempting to produce a play are transformed into beasts before their eyes, but the King and Queen of the fairies need to make peace before everything can be made well again. The final act is a memorable, hilarious play-within-a-play that captures the essence of the actor's nightmare and yet somehow has a magical appeal to the City's ruler in attendance.
