I hope everyone had a safe and happy 4th of July! The Department of Health Care Policy & Financing (the Department) is in the process of putting together a Hospital Transformation Program (HTP) Stakeholder Engagement Forum to give program participants and engaged stakeholders an opportunity to publicly comment on the HTP. Details about the forum will be forthcoming and if you think you'd be interested in participating, please fill out the following form. Additional information about the HTP Stakeholder Engagement Forum can be found in this newsletter.

Best,

Update on HTP timeline
The D epartment is committed to giving program participants and hospitals as much information as possible regarding the rollout and timing of HTP implementation. We know you are eager for projected deadlines on program items and are working diligently to formalize a document, that will be shared publicly, outlining the timeline of the remaining HTP development. The timeline will be shared with program participants and stakeholders via the HTP Newsletter before the end of July
Participate in our HTP Stakeholder Engagement Forum
Cornerstones of the HTP have always been transparency and community engagement and the Colorado Healthcare Affordability and Sustainability Enterprise (CHASE) Board as well as the Department support a robust public review process for our programs.

The Department will host an HTP Stakeholder Engagement Forum to give all those involved in the program an opportunity to provide feedback to the CHASE Board and Department staff. Electronic communications about the details of the forum will be forthcoming. If you're interested in participating in the HTP Stakeholder Engagement Forum, please fill out the following form.
Additional HTP documents
Additional documents regarding the HTP were shared with the CHASE Board at the June 25 board meeting. These materials can be found on  the CHASE Board website under the "2019 Meeting Schedule & Handouts" section. Materials of most interest to stakeholders include a HTP update memo, a summary of Department work-to-date on the HTP program, a letter from consumer advocates regarding the program, a letter to the CHASE Board from the Colorado Hospital Association (CHA) as well as a response letter to CHA regarding their previous feedback on measures.

if you have additional questions about these documents, please contact Courtney Ronner.
