Sweet Stella is a staff favorite here at the Humane Society of Charlotte. At eight years young, she still has plenty of energy to play and chase toys. Stella loves human affection, cuddles, and will gladly share her fluffy bed with you.
Stella has done well with other dogs here at HSC and would do best in a home that is willing to give her plenty of love and affection. If you're interested in adopting Stella, come visit her at our main shelter!

Community Cats Project
Have you ever heard the phrase, "kitten season is coming" as it gets warmer outside?
As the temperature rises, outdoor cats become more active as they search for mates and places to give birth to litters of kittens! The potential for a population explosion can be huge and the Humane Society of Charlotte's Community Cats project is helping to get the population under control.
A cat colony of 19 cats was Trapped, Neutered, and Released in February
near Ashley Road. Nearly half of the colony was female and all were un-spayed before they arrived at our clinic.
