LPA Needs Assessment Survey Now Open!

Good Afternoon Nebraska Local Highway Community,

We know as a local agency you have many demands on your time.  The Federal Highway Administration's Center for Local Aid Support (CLAS) is inviting local agencies to take a national survey on their training and technical assistance needs.

The results of this survey are being used to shape the scope and nature of services for centers like Nebraska LTAP, so the more input we can get from Nebraska, the better!

The survey is currently open and will be available until Friday, March 2, 2018. Only online responses are accepted, but if you know of agencies without internet access, please have them contact us to discuss ways to include their input.

The survey only takes 15-20 minutes to complete. We have attached a pdf version of the survey for you to review here, but keep in mind the survey must be completed online.

Here are a few definitions that you may aid in taking the survey:
  • APWA - American Public Works Association
  • NACE - National Association of County Engineers
  • AASHTO - American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials,
  • LTAP - Local Technical Assistance Program
  • ASCE - American Society of Civil Engineers
  • FHWA - Federal Highway Administration
When we receive the national and Nebraska specific results, we will share the results with you. The results are used to develop a national strategic plan and our own work plans here in Nebraska.

Please start the survey now by clicking on the link below.

The full text of CLAS' release statement regarding the survey is available  here.
