Back To School Night - August 5th
6th Grade: 4:00pm - 7:30pm
7th - 12th Grade: 5:30pm - 7:30pm
At Back to School Night, students may pick up their schedules, locker assignments, and sign up for clubs/activities. We encourage students to use this time to set up lockers as well. Families will also have the opportunity to visit our used book sale and used uniform sales!

- PSO VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR 2019-2020: Let's start the new school year off running! All SPA parents please fill out this short online PARENT VOLUNTEER FORM for 2019-2020even if you have been a dedicated volunteer in the past (for which we thank you!). We ask that this form be filled out annually by all parents so everyone has the opportunity to participate in grade level activities and new interests. Thank you! Together wE Achieve More!

Scottsdale Prep Staff Highlight
Scottsdale Prep welcomes new College Counselor Laney Smith, who graduated from the University of Arizona with a B.A. in Psychology. She joined Great Hearts in 2010 as one of the founding members of Archway Classical Academy Chandler, where she taught third grade and served as Director of Great Hearts Archway Summer Academy. She was a founding faculty member at North Phoenix Prep from 2012-2015, where she enjoyed teaching Literature & Composition for all middle grades, Medieval History, and Humane Letters and serving as Dean of Students. Most recently, she has served as NPP College Counselor, where she developed the College Counseling Program and Senior Experience, and now she is eager to further her own professional growth in partnering with Mrs. Fletcher here at Scottsdale Prep. Having spent considerable time working with Mrs. Sterner, she is committed to carrying on her legacy through leadership of the Rotary Club. Her personal hobbies largely focus on arts & crafts and "DIY" projects or outdoor activities she can share with her beloved rescue dogs, Baudelaire and Lucy Maud.

Used Uniform Sale
The
Used Uniform Sale will begin at 5pm on
Monday, August 5th in the SPA Library.
The sale will remain open through 2pm on Wednesday, August 7th, using our popular self-check out for convenient, anytime shopping.
We are accepting uniform donations all summer during the summer office hours at Scottsdale Prep.

Used Book Sales - Back for Summer!
Consider buying and/or selling your gently used SPA textbooks and consumable books to other families. It is good for the environment and for your wallet!

Fingerprinting Information
Scottsdale Preparatory Academy will hold a fingerprinting event after the start of the new school year in August. If you would like to secure a Fingerprint Card now, Postalmax in Scottsdale is available to provide information on how to secure a Level 1 IVP Fingerprint Card.
