This Week's Service:
In Praise of Men

On Father's Day it seems a good time to examine the role of men in our culture.  Father Knows Best?  Archie Bunker?  You?  Your dad?  There will be a bridging ceremony for Brendan Courtsal in today's service as he transitions out of high school . -Rev. Martha L. Munson

This Week's Drop-In Discussion: Open forum discussion or to be announced.

books Bookstore, Library To Close After June 15

This Sunday (June 15) is the last Sunday that the First Universalist Church library and bookstore will be open during the current church year.  We'll be closed during the summer, and reopen in the fall, probably after Labor Day.

We have new books of liberal religious interest which we sell at our cost, including the Rev. Richard Gilbert's latest, and we have donated books available for 25 and 50 cents, not to mention a free magazine exchange.

Visit us in the Clara Barton lounge during coffee hour, and stock up on books for summer reading.   Also, if you have borrowed a book from the church library and not returned it, we'd be grateful if you did so this Sunday.

Lost and Found

Please check the lost and found box (in the Clara Barton Lounge) and look in the Volunteer Office for any items that might be yours.

Items that remain unclaimed after June 22 will be donated.
