Special Events Specialists
According to Dr. Daniel J. Levitin, cognitive psychologist & neuroscientist, and author of Successful Aging , keeping active, involved and engaged as we age helps us to remain mentally sharp and independent. We know that the senior communities we partner with are aware of this and are continually striving to provide more engaging community activities. This is evidenced by their commitment to providing professional senior fitness classes in partnership with Live 2 B Healthy® . In addition to our regular Strength & Balance classes, we offer a wide variety of add-on programming options that we invite our communities to take advantage of. All of our add-on programming options are designed with the goal of increasing your residents’ awareness of the advantages of living a lifestyle based on the best health and wellness practices available.
Balanced Approach to Senior Wellness Talks

Your local Regional Owner has access to specially-developed Balanced Wellness materials that they can use to help you educate your residents on various topics such as: Heart Health, Nutrition, Fall Prevention, Mind/Body Connection & more. Each Wellness topic features approximately ½ hour worth of educational materials and includes handouts for all attendees. If there is a topic of special interest to your residents, our Marketing Department is able to work with your leadership team to develop wellness topics as well. Ask your Regional Owner or visit our website for more information.

Trainer-Led Special Fitness Parties

We encourage our trainers to have fun in our classes.  Live 2 B Healthy® provides materials for monthly theme fitness parties including ideas for fun group fitness games, prizes, music suggestions, costumes and customized flyers.
Specialty Classes

Many of our trainers have expertise in other fitness specialties and would be happy to mix up your regular workout schedules with a sampling of yoga, Pilates, tai chi, cardio, circuit training, stretching, dance, aqua…The list is as diverse as our 250+ trainers across the country. Of course, not all trainers are certified in all specialties, but if your residents have a special interest, let your Regional Owner know and they will ask around to see if they can find a qualified instructor. Who knows – maybe it will be such a hit among your residents that you end up adding a regular specialty class every week!

Monthly Resident Wellness Newsletters

We know that your residents enjoy exploring new topics and learning about the latest trends in successful aging. For this reason, we produce a monthly resident newsletter that explores topics related to fitness, health & wellness from a senior perspective. We make these newsletters available to all your residents through a variety of ways, including email, online and print editions. For more information on how you can provide this information to your community residents, please visit our website .
