GPRA Update 7/11/2019
Dear Great Pyrenees Friends,

We cannot applaud our dedicated volunteers and board members enough. We are at record numbers on intake, fosters and adoptions. Our adoption team successfully placed 23 Gentle Giants with wonderful families in June alone. We are also spending on medical, boarding and training at record levels as many of our rescues are arriving heart worm positive or requiring surgeries. We have also become proactive with training as Tracy and David are identifying and working with PYRS on intake that often need just fundamental house manners. We are averaging $1,450, primarily in medical, on every PYR we rescue and hope to drive that number down but we will always take the Giants in the most need.

Dylan, like so many others, has experienced an enormous turnaround, blind Goldie has found her forever home but we think Willow, after being with us for over a year, is trained and more than ready for a forever family.

Thanks to all but a special thanks to our superb fosters who are the heart of our success. We just need MORE!!!

Thank you for all your support.

Thank you,
John
