Phoenix Contact's IO-Link Master

Communication is key. The stand-alone IO-Link master allows the connection of up to eight IO-Link devices in the control cabinet. Installation couldn’t get any easier.

Turck's Overmolded Junction Box for Mobile Equipment

The overmolded junction box is a cost-effective solution that simplifies installation for cable consolidation. Fully customizable lengths and standard overmolded Deutsch connectors make these ideal for use in mobile equipment applications such as control valves, pressure switches and manifolds.

Banner Engineering's CM Series Condition Monitoring Nodes

Monitor electric motors on three critical indicators of performance and health without the hassle and expense of installing, altering, or expanding wired infrastructure to connect devices. The CM Series condition monitoring node communicates vibration, temperature, and current draw data from a VT1 sensor and a current transformer to a Performance Series Gateway or DXM wireless controller over a secure, robust Sure Cross wireless network.

Bedrock Automation Designed for Intrinsic Security

Because today’s mainstream control systems are based on architectures developed before cybersecurity was a threat – securing them requires adding on firewalls, intrusion detection and other pricey bolt-on solutions. These may provide some degree of protection, but they are far from impenetrable. Once an intruder gets through, there is very little to stop them. With Bedrock’s built-in protection, however, anything that does penetrate bolt-on defenses will have no place to go. The intruder would have to pass muster at multiple electronic checkpoints, break military grade encryption that would take years for even today’s most power computers, and even then would have cracked only a single module.

Fortress Interlock’s proNet

Fortress Interlock's proNet range provides an Ethernet based networking capability between PLCs and safe + non safe I/O. Ethernet IP’s CIP Safety (AB CIP) and Profisafe for Profinet are the supported industrial protocols.

Fortress proNet Control Stations are configurable network solutions aimed at reducing the cost of installation/ownership of bespoke fabrications with hardwired control functionality. It is expected that the costs associated with wiring time, panel building, panel space and the purchasing of enclosures, IO modules, terminals, multicore cables, industrial connectors at the machine or cell for the safety switches, sensors and interlocks can be avoided.
