BREWSTER DAY CAMP          Newsletter    July 7, 2019        Vol. 38 Issue 11

Hello Brewster Day Camp Family!

What an incredible week at BDC! We discovered our creativity in each and every activity, enjoying the beautiful summer sun and taking full advantage of our pool, BASE, and the off-campus waterfronts that we are lucky enough to have around Cape Cod.
This past week was full of surprising CHALLENGES! ECOD faced the CHALLENGE of reuniting a rafter of baby turkeys with their mother and delivered a surfeit of baby skunks to Cape Cod Wild Care, all of whom will be safely released back into the wild. We CHALLENGED ourselves and succeeded by breaking the BDC record for campers headed to Water Wizz! Don't worry if you missed this record-setting trip, we have two more trips coming up this summer! Mother Nature decided to give us a real CHALLENGE on Friday by providing us with our first rain of the camp season. Luckily, we were happily Singin' In The Rain and had a fantastic Creative Arts Day!

This week, BDC will be full of even more CHALLENGES! All week long, we will be preparing for our annual inter-camp competition. Green & White Day is our opportunity to CHALLENGE our fellow Camp Family members through Courage, Hope, Good Spirit & Peace. Green & White Day is also the time to CHALLENGE yourself to set a new personal best by cheering the loudest, having the most team spirit, and pushing yourself to improve!

This week, I CHALLENGE you to bring even more...
CHGsP!
